Best 5 Minute Margarita Recipe
This margarita recipe combines freshly squeezed lime juice, tequila, Cointreau or Grand Marnier, and a touch of honey for sweetness, shaken and served over ice. The drink balances citrus brightness with a hint of orange and honey, delivered in minutes. Optionally, it can be served with a salted rim for added flavor contrast.
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon honey be sure it's a liquid honey, not the thicker raw variety, or agave
- 1.5 ounces lime juice freshly squeezed
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1.5 ounces Cointreau or Grand Marnier
- 1 teaspoon orange juice freshly squeezed; optional
- ice
Instructions

- Add in the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and orange juice. Shake vigorously to combine.
- Fill a glass with ice. Pour the margarita on top of the ice, garnish with a lime twist or wedge, and serve at once.

- Grand Marnier gives a slightly more orange color and variation in flavor compared to Cointreau.
