Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts or frozen
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Meanwhile, rinse and dry the brussels sprouts. Trim the root ends. Then cut any large brussels sprouts and a half. *You can cut all the brussels sprouts in half or leave the smallest ones whole.
  3. Place the brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket. Drizzle the olive oil over the top. Then toss to coat. Sprinkle the top with garlic powder, and salt and pepper generously. Toss again and spread the brussels sprouts out into an even layer.
  4. Air Fried Fresh Brussel Sprouts: Air fry for 5 minutes. Then shake the air fryer basket vigorously and air fry for an additional 2-4 minutes until crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.
  5. Air Fried Frozen Brussel Sprouts: Air fry for 10 minutes. Then shake the basket vigorously, and spread the brussels sprouts back out into an even layer. Continue to air fry for another 6-9 minutes, until warm on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Notes

  • Leftover Brussels sprouts will keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days. However, they taste best when cooked and eaten fresh. Leftover Brussels Sprouts can be rewarmed in the air fryer.
