Ingredients

  • 1 (28-ounce) can fire-roasted tomatoes or 2 (14-ounce) cans
  • 1 (7.75-ounce) can El Pato tomato sauce yellow can
  • 1 (7-ounce) can diced green chilis
  • ½ cup chopped red onion about ½ a red onion
  • 3 whole garlic cloves
  • ½-¾ bunch chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, add 1 (28-ounce) can fire-roasted tomatoes, 1 (7.75-ounce) can el Pato tomato sauce 1 (7-ounce) can diced green chilis, ½ cup chopped red onion, 3 whole garlic cloves, ½-¾ bunch chopped fresh cilantro 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 tablespoon salt, and juice of 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice.
  2. Blend until the salsa is as chunky or smooth as you would like. Taste and add more salt if desired.
  3. Chill for at least 30 minutes or overnight and serve with chips!
