My Best Blue Cheese Dressing recipe is extra creamy and way better than store-bought! Use it as a dip for crudités and hot wings or toss it with your favorite salad!

Ingredients
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup light mayonnaise
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 2 oz blue cheese crumbled
- 1 tbsp snipped chives
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
- cracked black pepper to taste
- milk to thin, optional
Instructions
- Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, blue cheese, chives, lemon juice and garlic powder in a small bowl and beat with a fork, mashing the blue cheese crumbles into the dressing as you go until the consistency is smooth with just a bit of texture from the remaining cheese.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper. It should now be a dipping consistency for crudités. For a thinner dressing, thin with milk as required.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to come together before serving.

- Plain yogurt can be substituted for the buttermilk in a pinch.
- For an entirely smooth dressing, blitz everything together in a blender or food processor, and stir in the snipped chives at the end.
