BEST Cinnamon Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 300 g oats
  • 120 g soft light brown sugar
  • 1+½ Teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons golden syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180℃ (or 160℃ for fan ovens) and line an 8x8 tin with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a heatproof bowl in the microwave.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. Then add in the melted butter and golden syrup. Mix well until the oats are evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into your tin and bake for around 18-20 minutes. The flapjacks should be golden at the edges and will be a bit wobbly in the middle until they start to cool.
  5. Leave the flapjacks to cool completely then cut them into slices and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
