Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 15 ounces can light red kidney beans
  • 15 ounces can red kidney beans
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Seasoning:
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a cooking pot then pour-in olive oil.
  2. Put-in ground beef and chopped onion and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or until the ground beef turns medium brown.
  3. Put-in all the seasoning then stir.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and kidney beans. Stir and cover. Simmer for 1 ½ hours.
  5. Turn-off heat then transfer to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve with grated cheese or your favorite side.
  7. Share and enjoy!
