Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic finely minced or grated
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tablespoon capers drained and rinsed under cold water, then roughly chopped
  • 2 anchovy fillet minced, optional but highly recommended
  • ¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¾ cup flat-leaf parsley finely chopped, Italian
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
