Better Than Sex Cake
Better Than Sex Cake is the ultimate chocolate poke cake recipe topped with sweetened condensed milk, caramel sauce, toffee, and cool whip.
Ingredients
Chocolate Cake:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large egg
- 1 cup milk whole
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup coffee hot brewed
To Finish:
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 8 ounces Toffee bits chocolate covered
- 16 ounces Cool Whip , thawed
Instructions
Chocolate Cake:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 pan with baking spray or butter and flour it.
- In a stand mixer on low speed mix together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a small bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla then add it to the stand mixer on low then medium speed until just combined and finally add in the hot coffee carefully and stir it in by hand until just combined (do not turn on the mixer, it may splash on you).
- Pour into the baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
To Finish:
- While the cake is baking whisk together the condensed milk and caramel sauce.
- Remove from the oven, pierce all over with a fork and pour the milk mixture over the cake and top with half the chocolate covered toffee bits.
- Let cool to room temperature.
- Top with Cool Whip and remaining chocolate toffee bits to serve.
