Big Mac Salad
With a copycat Big Mac sauce, ground beef, iceberg lettuce, onions, and pickles, this Big Mac Salad recipe has all the flavors of the classic burger, without the carbs. Perfect for a light but filling dinner or lunches throughout the week!
Ingredients
For the dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon yellow onion finely diced
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish sweet
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
For the salad:
- 1 pound ground beef lean
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 cups iceberg lettuce shredded
- 1/2 cup onion diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup dill pickles
- sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, onion,ketchup, mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, paprika, and salt. Whisk together until all is combined.
- In a large non-stick skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until all the ground beef has cooked. Remove from heat and drain the fat from the ground beef. Mix in salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Divide salad between plates, top with ground beef, cheddar cheese, diced onion and pickles. Drizzle salad dressing over salad and top with sesame seeds and enjoy.
