Ingredients

for the Big Mac sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp dill pickles finely diced
for the Big Mac tacos (smash burger tacos)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 6-8 small flour tortillas
  • vegetable oil for cooking
  • 6-8 lices Monterey jack cheese or American cheese
  • iceberg lettuce for serving, shredded
  • dill pickles for serving

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Start by making the sauce; mix together all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Combine ground beef, onion powder, salt and pepper into a bowl.
  3. Press a little bit more than a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the tortillas. Have them all ready and laid out before you begin cooking.
  4. Preheat a skillet over high heat and add a bit of oil to the pan; it should be very hot. Place one tortilla with the beef mixture side down. Flatten it with a spatula. Cook for 1-2 minutes and flip.
  5. Place cheese slice on top of the beef and cover with a lid for about 30 seconds to help melt the cheese.
  6. Remove from the pan and repeat with all the tacos. Serve with lettuce, big mac sauce and pickles.
