Bill Knapp’s Chicken Marinade
Make chicken just as flavorful as Bill Knapps does with this chicken marinade.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Mix all together in a blender and let the chicken sit overnight in the fridge. You may want to grill or bake.
To Grill Chicken
- To grill this remove chicken from marinade, let the marinade drip off. Cook in a medium-high heat pan with little oil.
To Bake Chicken
- To bake, remove chicken from marinade, set chicken in a baking dish, and bake at a 350-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until done.
Notes
- To marinate the chicken, put the marinade in a plastic ziplock bag. Add the chicken and lock it up. This method makes it easier to cover all of the chicken. And it's an easy cleanup.
- Once you have used up the marinade, toss it. Do not reuse marinade that has been used on raw chicken.
- This marinade also works with pork or even with roasted veggies.
