Birthday Cake Overnight Oats
Have dessert for breakfast with this easy birthday cake overnight oats recipe! Packed with over 30 grams of protein, it’s creamy, delicious, and takes just 5 minutes to prep.
Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats old fashioned
- 1 cup almond milk unsweetened vanilla
- ¼ cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 1 coop (25 grams) plant-based vanilla protein powder I used Truvani
- 1 Tablespoon Rainbow sprinkles I like Supernatural or Watkins, natural
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon butter extract optional
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl or mason jar. Stir well to combine. Seal the container with a lid and place in the fridge overnight.
- Take the container out of the fridge the next morning and stir the mixture. You'll notice that the oats soak up a lot of the liquid so you may want to add a little more milk before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- Storing: If you're meal prepping this recipe for the week you can store the overnight oats in the fridge for up to 5 days. They will soften more the longer they sit so I find they’re best on days 1-3, but they’re still safe to eat on days 4 and 5.
