Blackberry, Bacon & Blue Cheese Salad
Fresh greens topped with plump, juicy blackberries, crispy bacon, crumbled blue cheese, and homemade honey balsamic vinaigrette.
Ingredients
Salad
- 4 cups mixed greens
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbled
- ½ cup blackberry fresh
- 4 pieces turkey bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 green onion sliced
Dressing
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon basil dried
Instructions
- Add the ⅓ cup olive oil, ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons honey, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon dried basil to a small blender or food processor. Pulse until combined.
- Combine the 4 cups mixed greens, ½ cup blue cheese, ½ cup fresh blackberries, 4 pieces turkey bacon, and 1 green onion, in a large bowl
- Top with the desired amount of dressing and enjoy!
