Blackberry Gin Fizz

Blackberries, gin and lemon are the perfect combination in this easy to make Blackberry Gin Fizz!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 ounces gin
  • soda water
  • ice
  • Mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker or measuring cup, add the blackberries, honey and lemon juice. Use a muddler or the handle end of a wooden spoon to mash the berries until they release their juices.
  2. Add a few ice cubes to a low ball glass then strain in the blackberry juice. Pour in the gin and top off with soda water. Stir and garnish the glass with a lemon slice and sprig of mint.
