Blackberry Simple Syrup

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup blackberry fresh or frozen
Instructions
- Combine the sugar and water in a small pot over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved in the water. Do not let boil.
- Add the blackberries and cook for a minute or so. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
- Strain the blackberry syrup into a clean glass jar.
