  • Water for boiling
  • Ice cubes for ice bath

Instructions

  1. Wash broccoli and cut it into uniform-sized florets.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
  3. Add broccoli to boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Transfer blanched broccoli to a bowl of ice water for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove broccoli from ice water.
  6. Store blanched broccoli in an airtight container for up to or use it in your favorite recipes.
