Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers
Perfect for grilling season or any time of year under the broiler, these delicious blue cheese stuffed burgers are made with juicy beef and stuffed with creamy blue cheese. This easy recipe is a must-try for burger lovers!
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds ground chuck
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose grill seasoning
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 ounces blue cheese
- 4 sesame bun (split)
- Condiments such as red onion, tomato, lettuce, etc, to serve
Instructions
- Place ground beef in a medium bowl then sprinkle in all spices and Worcestershire sauce. Using your hands, mix then divide into four equal parts. Working one section at a time, gently begin shaping the ground meat into a thick, round beef patty, almost like a large meatball.
- Gently using your thumb, begin making a small indent into the center of the patty and place the blue cheese in the center (about 1 ounce per burger). Carefully shape the ground beef around the blue cheese, making sure to fully enclose the cheese in the patty. Carefully form the patty in to a burger shape about 1/2" thick. Place formed patties on a plate and continue until all four are done.
- Pre-heat grill to high heat. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper before placing on the grill. Cook for 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. If you want them to be more done, cook them a bit longer or until you reach desired doneness. Let rest 5-8 minutes before serving with buns. Garnish with your favorite condiments.
