Blue Long Island Iced Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ ounce vodka
  • ½ ounce gin
  • ½ ounce white tequila
  • ½ ounce white rum
  • ½ - 1 ounce blue curacao see notes
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 3-4 ounces ginger ale to top glass
  • Lemon wedge to serve

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add the vodka, gin, tequila, rum, blue curaçao, and lemon juice and shake.
  3. Pour into the ice filled glass, top with ginger ale, and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Notes

  • Note 1: If you prefer sweeter cocktails, use 1 ounce of blue curaçao.
  • Note 2: Shaking the ingredients with ice will give you the best results. But you can make a quick and easy version by pouring the ingredients into an ice-filled glass, giving them a quick stir, and then topping your glass with ginger ale. 
  • Note 3: To make blue long island iced teas for a party, fill a pitcher with ice, add ½ cup of each liquor, 1 cup of blue curaçao and lemon juice, and 4 cups of ginger ale.
