- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 6-8 lemons
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon blue raspberry flavoring syrup
- 4 cups cold water
- Blue Food coloring optional, for a deeper blue color
- ice
- Fresh raspberries and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves completely to create a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, blue raspberry flavoring syrup, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to mix.
- If desired, add a few drops of blue food coloring to enhance the blue color of the lemonade. Start with a small amount and gradually add more until you achieve the desired shade.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if needed.
