Blueberry Banana Smoothie
This Blueberry Smoothie recipe is made with 5 simple ingredients and tastes amazing! It will quickly become your go-to combination, with an extra boost of nutrients in each sip.
Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries frozen
- 1 banana sliced, frozen
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds ground
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender, combine the blueberries, bananas, orange juice, milk, and ground flax seeds. Secure the lid and blend until smooth.
- Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender and make sure no chunks are remaining. Taste the smoothie and make any adjustments, as needed. (Add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of spinach, if desired.)
- Serve it right away for the best taste and texture. Leftovers can be poured into a popsicle mold and frozen for a treat later.
Notes
- Nutrition information is for half the batch. This information is automatically calculated and is just an estimate, not a guarantee.
- Note: Make sure you use an orange juice you love for the best flavor. (I like Whole Foods' 365 brand.) For a lower sugar option, you can use more milk as a swap, but the smoothie will not taste nearly as delicious.
