Blueberry Brie Grilled cheese

This blueberry brie grilled cheese sandwich is so simple to make yet so rich and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 4 lices thick sliced bread such as Sara Lee® Artesano™ bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese sliced
  • ½ cup blueberries blackberries or strawberries
  • 2 ounces sharp cheddar cheese sliced, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter bread and place two slices butter side down in the skillet. Top with brie.
  3. Add berries and cheddar. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side out.
  4. Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until bread is golden and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Options: Use berries, thinly sliced peaches, pears or apples in this sandwich. 2 oz prosciutto or thinly shaved ham can be added.
