Blueberry Margarita

This simple blueberry margarita recipe needs only four ingredients, blueberries, limes, triple sec and tequila for a cold, refreshing summer blueberry cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 lime
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 2 ounces tequila

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Juice both limes.
  2. Put the fresh blueberries in a blender with half the lime juice and blend.
  3. Strain the blueberry mixture into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add the remaining lime juice, triple sec and tequila to the cocktail shaker and shake.
  5. Serve over ice garnished with lime and blueberries.

Notes

  • You can also use frozen blueberries for a frozen Margarita. In that case you can skip the straining step.
