Bowtie Pasta Salad

Ingredients

For the dressing:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
For the salad:
  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta farfalle
  • 1 cup cubed colby jack cheese
  • 1 cup cubed salami
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the ingredients for the dressing, then cover and set aside in the fridge until you're ready to mix it in the salad. 1 cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream, 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1 tablespoon fresh dill, 1 teaspoon minced garlic, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  2. Boil the pasta according to package directions, cooking until just pasta salad is just past al dente. It should still be slightly firm, but not too soft. Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water to cool the pasta. 12 ounces bowtie pasta
  3. Prepare the ingredients for the salad and place them in a large bowl. 1 cup cubed colby jack cheese, 1 cup cubed salami, ½ cup diced red onion, 2 cups grape tomatoes, 1 cup diced cucumber, 1 cup broccoli florets
  4. Add the cooled pasta to the other ingredients, then pour the dressing over the top. Mix to combine so that all ingredients are coated with the dressing.
  5. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
