Bread and Butter Pickle
Bread and Butter Pickles are crisp cucumber slices combined with onions, chili peppers, and garlic, brined in kosher salt, then briefly cooked in a sweet and tangy mixture of white and apple cider vinegar, sugar, and spices including mustard seeds, celery seed, and turmeric. The pickles develop a balance of sweet, sour, and mildly spicy flavors with a crunchy texture, ideal for sandwiches or as a condiment.
