Beer Cheese Soup Ingredients:
- 330 ml German beer
- 30 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp skimmed milk
- 675 g plain flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1.5 Tsp yeast
- ½ Tsp sea salt
- 4 Tbsp mustard
- 25 g grated cheddar cheese optional
Instructions
- Three hours before making your beer bread, take the lid off the beer and let it sit so that it can go semi flat. Then load your beer into the bread machine.
- Add in extra virgin olive oil and milk and stir.
- Add in your dry ingredients and place them on top making sure the yeast is the last ingredient added.
- Place the lid down on your bread machine and cook on the quick bread setting for 90 minutes. If adding cheese,

Notes
- Swaps. You can sprinkle the top of your bread with your favourite grated cheese, herb, or spice.
- IMPORTANT. It is essential that you leave your beer out for a few hours prior to making your beer bread. Otherwise it will over froth and you will have an explosion as it cooks.
