Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups quick oats
- 1 ¼ cups old fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 medium banana, mashed (1/2 cup mashed banana)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 Tablespoons flaxseed meal
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (this can be optional)
- 1/2 cup any kind of chocolate chips (I like to use white chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup craisins, optional
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.Stir in chocolate chips and/or craisins, if using.
- Using a large cookie scoop (#20 scoop), drop dough onto prepared baking sheet. You should get 10 large cookies.Shape and flatten cookies to your liking. They will not change shape during baking.
- Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
