Breakfast Taco Ring
Eggs, sausage, cheese and hot sauce make the perfect filling for this breakfast taco ring that's so delicious, and easy to make!
Ingredients
- 6 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- 1 lb turkey breakfast sausage
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, spicy
- 16 oz crescent roll dough 2 - 8 count cans, refrigerated
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and hot sauce in a medium bowl.
- In one skillet over medium heat, add the eggs and scramble.
- In another skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the turkey sausage.
- Once the eggs are scrambled and the sausage is cooked through, add the sausage and shredded cheese to the scrambled eggs and toss everything together.
- Form a ring with the crescent rolls by placing a small glass on the center of a baking stone then staggering the crescent rolls around the glass with the wide ends overlapping in the center.
- Add the egg sausage mixture to the middle of the crescent roll ring around the cup.
- Remove the glass from the middle and roll the dough up and over the eggs & sausage.
- Place the roll in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
- Vegetarian Option: Omit the turkey sausage. Substitute 1 lb. meatless crumbles or soy chorizo.
