Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 cups small chopped broccoli florets

  1. Fit the pie crust into a 9.5-inch pie pan, crimp the edges, and prick the base with a fork. Freeze the crust for 20 minutes to firm up.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Line the chilled crust with parchment paper and fill with pie weights or dried beans. Bake for 12 minutes.
  3. Remove the parchment and weights, and continue baking the crust for another 10 minutes until the edges are just starting to brown.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Mix in the shredded cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and broccoli until well combined.
  5. Pour the broccoli and egg mixture into the pre-baked crust, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Bake the quiche for 37-42 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the center is set.
  7. Let the quiche cool slightly before serving. DEVOUR!
