Broccoli Radish Salad Recipe

Fresh and light broccoli salad with vibrant radish and simple dressing.

Ingredients

Salad Ingredients
  • 14 ounces broccoli
  • 3.5 ounces radish
  • 1 small shallot or green onion
  • chives optional, fresh to garnish
Dressing
  • 3 Tablespoon oil canola or olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ Teaspoon salt
  • Black Pepper Ground pinch

Instructions

Salad Ingredients

  1. Cut broccoli florets into manageable pieces. Cut off greens and rinse florets.
  2. Boil or steam broccoli florets until al dente (to the bite) cooked through. Strain when done and allow to cool.
  3. In the meanwhile rinse, cut off ends, and slice radish.
  4. Peel and slice shallots.
  5. Chop fresh chives. (optional/garnish)
  6. Combine all salad ingredients
Dressing
  1. Prepare the dressing. Combine salt, black pepper and vinegar. Pour and mix in oil.
To Serve
  1. Prep salad ingredients in a large or in small serving bowls. Sprinkle dressing and chives over salad.
  2. Serve up room temperature or cooled as a side dish.

Notes

  • You can choose to serve up the salad in a large bowl OR in smaller salad bowls.
