Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops 3/4 inch thick, bone-in
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil and evenly apply the spice mix.
  4. Place pork chops on a broiler pan and broil for 7-8 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  5. Remove from the broiler and let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
