Broiled Tilapia with Garlic

This broiled fish recipe will work great with any white fish. It's super quick and easy to make, perfect for a busy weeknight!

Ingredients

  • 6 tilapia fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
  • kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 large lemon (cut into wedges)

Instructions

  1. Wash fish and pat dry. Line broiler pan with foil. Adjust the top rack 6 to 8 inches from the heating element.
  2. Place fish on the foil and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and top with crushed garlic.
  4. Set broiler to low and place fish on the rack.
  5. Cook until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, about 6 to 8 minutes depending on the thickness (be careful not to burn garlic). No need to turn the fish.
  6. Serve with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
