Brown Sugar Bacon Green Bean Bundles

Brown Sugar Bacon Green Bean Bundles are incredible, tasty bites! These bacon wrapped green bean bundles are definitely worth the effort!

Ingredients

  • 10 lices Bacon
  • 6 tblsp butter, unsalted, melted or ¾ stick
  • 60 green beans, fresh, cut or just over a pound
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt -
  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or tinfoil and cooking spray. Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  2. Clean and trim green beans. Boil for 3-5 minutes, until bright green.
  3. In a large fry pan cook the bacon strips until the slices are beginning to cook but are still very underdone and pliable, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the butter, salt and garlic powder.
  5. Divide the green beans into equal portions, about 6 beans each.
  6. On a large cutting board lay bacon slices down flat. Paint or smear butter mixture on each slice of bacon.
  7. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  8. Place each portion into a neat bunch and wrap the slice of bacon tightly around the center to hold the beans together.
  9. Sprinkle more brown sugar on top of the bundles.
  10. Place the bundles on the prepared baking sheet with the loose ends of the bacon on the bottom. Use toothpicks if you need to.
  11. Bake until the bacon is cooked through, 20-25 minutes.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy every bite!
