Bubbly blood orange campari cocktail
This cocktail combines freshly juiced blood orange with the bittersweet Campari and sparkling wine for a lively, refreshing drink. Ingredients
- 2-3 blood orange juiced, about 1/3 cup juice, large
- 1 oz Campari
- sparkling wine champagne, cava, brut, etc, choose from prosecco, chilled, ~4-5 oz
To garnish:
- Blood orange peel or blood orange slice
Instructions
- Pour 1 ½ oz of blood orange juice in each champagne flute.
- Add ½ oz of campari.
- Top off each drink with ~ 2 oz of sparkling wine, garnish with a slice of blood orange and enjoy.
Notes
- A non-alcoholic version can be crafted by replacing Campari with alcohol-free bitters and substituting sparkling grape juice or lemonade for the sparkling wine.
