Ingredients
- olive oil cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise
- ¼ cup Franks Red Hot Sauce + more for serving if desired
- 6 Slider or dinner rolls toasted
- mixed greens
- blue cheese dressing
Instructions
- Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise, then cut each piece in half. Place the chicken pieces into a large zip lock bag and pour the hot sauce over the top. Seal and mix until the chicken is evenly coated with the hot sauce. Place into the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
- Once you are ready to eat, remove the chicken from the refrigerator 20 minutes prior to cooking it.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Coat the skillet with cooking spray then add the chicken pieces to the HOT skillet, then season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste, if desired. Cook for 3-4 minutes then flip over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until chicken is completely cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, warm up the dinner rolls in the oven for a few minutes.
- Place a piece of the lettuce on the bottom half of the dinner roll followed by a piece of chicken and a dollop of blue cheese dressing. Top with the remaining half of the dinner roll.
- Serve immediately with extra hot sauce on the side. Enjoy.
