Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic minced
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly crushed
  • salt to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  1. Gather all the ingredients before you begin cooking to ensure everything is on hand.
  2. Heat and melt butter while sautéing minced garlic in a pan.
  3. Add the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  4. Add the grated parmesan cheese. Mix well and remove from flame.
  5. Add Italian seasoning, chili flakes, crushed pepper, and salt. Mix well and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  6. Mix in the mayonnaise, taste, and adjust as needed. Serve.

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Jarred garlic and shelf-stable parmesan will make preparing this sauce easier, but you will be compromising on the taste.
  • Heavy cream gives this dipping sauce the right amount of thickness and creaminess. Don't substitute for half and half.
  • For more of a kick, stir in some sriracha or Tabasco sauce.
