Burger Sauce Recipe

Delicious recipe for burger sauce that will take your burgers to the next level. Also great as a french fry dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 small onions
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4-5 Pickle slices, or to taste
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp sriracha sauce, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 3-4 tsp Pickle juice, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely slice the onions. Or dice as fine as possible.
  2. Heat a small skillet and add olive oil. Add the cut onions to the oil and sauté on low heat for 20-25 minutes or until the onions are caramelized. Make sure to stir once in a while as the onions can burn fast.
  3. Meanwhile, finely slice the pickle slices.
  4. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, sliced pickles, sautéed onions, paprika, ground black pepper and pickle juice. Stir until well-combined. Add more pickle juice (or plain water) to thin out the sauce, if desired.
  5. Refrigerate before serving.
