Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. In large sized saucepan over medium high heat add the butter and melt. Whisk in the sugar and buttermilk and whisk until it starts to boil. Remove from the heat and add vanilla and baking soda. The mixture will foam so make sure to have saucepan big enough.
