Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe
This Caesar Salad Dressing mixes lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, anchovy paste, mayonnaise, olive oil, grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, salt, and pepper to create a classic creamy and savory dressing. It balances acidity and umami flavors for tossing with romaine or other greens. The anchovy paste adds depth but can be omitted if desired.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon anchovy paste
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese grated
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- To make the dressing, in a medium bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Worcestershire, garlic, and anchovy paste. Add mayo, olive oil, cheese, salt, and pepper and whisk until combined. Store in the refrigerator until ready to toss with your salad.
Notes
- Anchovy paste can be omitted if preferred; the dressing will still be tasty but less savory.
