Ingredients

  • 4-5 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Thoroughly scrub the potatoes. You can peel them if preferred, but keeping the skins on adds nutrients and texture. Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch thick sticks.
  3. Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and rinse them.
  4. Dry the potatoes completely and spread them out on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and salt, and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then flip the fries and bake for another 20 minutes until crispy.
  6. DEVOUR!
