Cajun Fries Recipe
A simple recipe for making restaurant-quality Cajun fries at home.
Ingredients
- 4-5 russet potatoes large
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Thoroughly scrub the potatoes. You can peel them if preferred, but keeping the skins on adds nutrients and texture. Cut the potatoes into 1/2-inch thick sticks.
- Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and rinse them.
- Dry the potatoes completely and spread them out on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and salt, and toss to coat evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then flip the fries and bake for another 20 minutes until crispy.
- DEVOUR!
