Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined, jumbo
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • lemon optional, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the Cajun seasoning.
  2. Season the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning, making sure to evenly coat each shrimp.
  3. In a large pan, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes or until they turn pink and are no longer translucent.
  5. Serve the shrimp hot with rice or as a side dish, with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (optional). Enjoy!
