Cajun Shrimp Kabobs

Just assemble and grill these easy cajun shrimp kabobs--no marinating! With a sprinkle of spices and andouille sausage, they are loaded with flavor!

Ingredients

Spice mix
  • ¼ teaspoon each cayenne oregano, onion powder, thyme, cumin, garlic powder, black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon EACH paprika salt
Kabobs
  • 2 andouille sausages cut in 16 peices
  • 16 large raw shrimp peeled
  • 16 cherry tomatoes about a half pint
  • 1 pepper cut into 16 pieces.
  • 1 zucchini cut into 16 pieces

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. If using wooden skewers, soak ahead of time, according to package directions.
  2. Combine ingredients in spice mix and mix thoroughly.
  3. Assemble eight kabobs, using 2 pieces of each ingredient per skewer.
  4. Sprinkle with spice mix, then grill until done, turning once.
  5. Serve two skewers per person.
