Ingredients
- 1 French bread loaf typical grocery store size
- 1/2 cup of butter 1 stick, very soft
- 1-2 tbsp. Crushed Calabrian Chilies use 1 for mild, 2 for spicy
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 5-6 garlic cloves minced OR 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°. Combine butter, crushed Calabrian chili peppers, salt, garlic, and parsley in a bowl; mix thoroughly.
- Slice a loaf of French bread in half length-wise. Slather the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread, making sure to cover the surface. Place the bread halves face-up on a baking sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Check on the bread around the 7 minute mark to gauge how it's browning. Slice and enjoy hot!
