Calico Beans (Crock Pot)
Looking for the perfect side dish? These Crock Pot Calico Beans are not only simple to make but super flavorful. We also love this as a main dinner dish or also a huge hit for summer bbq's or any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Bacon diced
- Half onion diced
- 1 ounces can pork and beans
- 1 ounces can kidney bean drained
- 1 ounces can butter beans large , drained
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- ½ cup water
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat brown and cook your bacon and ground beef. Drain off the grease.
- To your slow cooker add the ground beef, bacon, diced onion, pork and beans, drained kidney and butter beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, vinegar, and water.
- Stir to combine.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring once.
- Serve!
