  • 2-6 lices bread fresh bakery
  • any and all of the fresh veggies in your crisper [see below]
  • spinach dip fresh, homemade or store bought, per sandwich
SIMPLE CHILLED SPINACH DIP:
  • 9 oz spinach frozen, chopped, thawed
  • 1 dried vegetable mix packet
  • 1 cup yogurt plain, Greek
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or a second cup of yogurt, quality
  • 3 green onion chopped, stems
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp onion powder
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
THE VEGGIES:
  • bell pepper sliced thin, colorful
  • romaine lettuce butter, or bibb lettuce, fresh greens like
  • carrot grated thin or sliced into ribbons with a peeler
  • cucumber thinly sliced
  • onion red or white
  • avocado fresh sliced
  • tomato sliced
  • sprouts
  • choose all your favorites from the list above for a custom cali sandwich that's sure to rock your socks!

  1. Spread a hearty layer of spinach dip on each slice of bread, pile on the vegetables and enjoy!
