Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 28 oz sweetened condensed milk 2 typical cans
  • 1 oz unflavored gelatin 4 typical packets
  • 1 cup Vanilla vodka
  • Yellow and orange food coloring
  • candy corn for garnish

Instructions

To Prep the Gelatin
    Cup of Yum
  1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil.
  2. Combine 1 cold cup of water with the contents of 4 packets of unflavored gelatin. Allow to sit for 5 minutes, then pour in 2 cups of boiling water and whisk until all of the gelatin is dissolved.
  3. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk and 1 chilled cup vanilla vodka. This mixture should be a creamy white color.
  4. Once the mixture has cooled enough to handle, divide evenly among 3 small bowls. Leave one bowl white. In a second bowl, stir in a few drops of yellow food coloring so the mixture is bright yellow. Do the same in the 3rd small bowl with orange food coloring.
To Make the Jello Shots
  1. Pour white gelatin into the empty plastic cups, about 1/3 of the way full. Chill for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  2. Pour the orange gelatin on top of the white layer and chill for 30 more minutes.
  3. Pour the yellow gelatin on top of the orange layer and chill until the shots are completely set (not just the top of the yellow layer).
  4. When ready to serve, garnish each jello shot with a candy corn.
