Ingredients
- 6 Granny Smith apples sliced
Caramel Sauce:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Topping:
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F.

Caramel Sauce:
- Put all the ingredients of the caramel sauce in a pot over medium heat.
- Stir until the sauce is well combined and starts bubbling.
- Let the sauce cook for 3 minutes after it starts bubbling.

Topping:
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a spoon until the dough comes together. It will be somehow sticky. That's how it should be.
Caramel Apple Cobbler:
- Pour half of the caramel sauce in a baking dish. (Ceramic or Pyrex will work)
- Place the apple slices on the caramel.
- Pour the rest of the sauce.
- Using a spoon, cover the apples with the topping.
- Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until the topping is brown at some spots and the sauce is bubbly.
Notes
- You can use any kind of apples for this apple cobbler recipe. I prefer honey crisp and granny smith.
- You can serve apple cobbler warm or at room temperature.
- Keep the leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to three days.
- For the topping you can also use store bought refrigerated biscuits.
