Caramel Apple Dip Recipe
This Caramel Apple Dip blends softened cream cheese with sugar, vanilla or almond extract, and kosher salt for a smooth base. Thick caramel sauce, toffee bits, and optionally pecans or mini chocolate chips are layered on top. Served chilled alongside fresh apple slices, it offers a creamy, sweet, and textural contrast for dipping.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce cream cheese , softened
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt coarse
- 1 ½ cups caramel sauce thick
- ½ cup Toffee bits
- ¼ cup pecans optional, or walnuts, chopped and toasted
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips , optional
- apple slices
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or a large mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer, blend the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sugar, vanilla or almond extract and salt, blending until mixed.
- Spread the caramel apple mixture into a small casserole dish.
- Top with the caramel sauce and toffee bits. Add the nuts and chocolate chips if desired.
- Cover and chill until ready to serve. Serve with the apple slices.
