Caramel Latte

Warm milk flavored with caramel sauce and a shot of espresso. Top with fresh sugar free whipped cream for the ultimate coffee beverage in your own home.

Ingredients

Latte
  • 2 ½ Cups milk
  • 4 Tbsp sugar free caramel sauce
  • ½ Tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ Cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
Whipped Cream
  • 1 Cup heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 3 Tbsp confectioners’ sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ Tsp vanilla extract
Topping (optional)
  • Golden sugar
  • Caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare espresso or strong coffee.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat whisk together the milk, caramel sauce, vanilla extract and espresso. Bring to a gentle simmer and remove from heat. Set aside.
  3. In a chilled bowl, whisk (by hand or use a hand held mixer with whisk attachment) the heavy cream with the confectioners (Lakanto) for sugar free, salt and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Pour the coffee into mugs, top with the whipped cream and sprinkle with golden sugar and additional caramel if desired.

Notes

  • Macronutrients are calculated with whole milk, sugar-free caramel, and sweetener.
