Ingredients
- 1 recipe Carne Asada
- 32 ounce bag frozen French fries
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup Pico de Gallo
- 3/4 cup guacamole
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- cilantro sprigs and lime wedges for garnish optional
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Prepare the carne asada according to recipe directions.
- While the carne asada is cooking, place the french fries on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray and bake according to package directions.
- Slice the meat against the grain, then cut it into bite sized pieces.
- Arrange the french fries in a skillet or on a sheet pan. Sprinkle the cheese over the fries, them top with the steak.
- Bake the fries for 5-6 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Remove the pan from the oven. Top the fries with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. Serve immediately, garnished with cilanto and lime wedges if desired.

Notes
- You can use any style french fry you like, simply bake them according to the package directions.
- Don't use pre-shredded cheese. It often contains anti-caking agents and tends not to melt well.
- Chop your carne asada in to similar sized chunks that you can eat with french fries.
